Hi, I'm Michelle!
I absolutely love what I do and believe that everyone has a story to tell. I love the unique stories that make each person who they are. My favourite part about stories - whether they are told in stills or with motion - are the candid moments that turn an everyday situation into an extraordinary and unforgettable one.
That split-second changes everything.
These are also the moments where you feel most comfortable, resulting in the best images - the ones where you can truly just be yourself.

My style is very unobtrusive, candid and documentary - my focus is on capturing the little (and big) moments that tell the story of every couple's day. I shoot mostly on Canon DSLRs, but do have a few film cameras (Minolta) from my childhood days, and a smaller kit for travel + personal images. I expanded into weddings from portraits + events when I myself got engaged a few years ago. Since then, I've been in love with love (cheesy, I know!) and have been photographing couples and their families ever since!
A little about me aside from photography:
Dog-lover (really just an animal lover)
I speak Cantonese (and English too!)
In spare time, I love to try new things and also go back to old faves (zip-lining, hiking, dance)
I am a big believer in community > competition and am always thrilled to meet new friends in the industry!
Born and raised in Toronto, but forever passionate about exploring new places and cultures - there's a deep personal growth that naturally comes with traveling, and I love learning more about myself and others during a trip!
